Quote from: The Brain on Today at 05:03:16 AMThe American people voted for Trump twice. There's no coming back from that.

I didn't and I think I'm an American person.

Are you the entire American people? katmai sockpuppet? :hmm:
Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Threviel

Even more than Russians all of you have a responsibility for how it's going. And all of you have a duty to resist what is happening.

Crazy_Ivan80

Seems to me that the americans are running out of time to get their own maidan on the rails...

No but the entire American people also didn't vote for Trump.

Sophie Scholl

I'll be honest, the idea of ending up in the men's section of a jail/prison if I'm arrested has definitely cut down on my willingness to be as physically engaged in protests as I was years ago. I've been trying to find less arrestable means of protesting. For now.

:( nobody can fault you for that. You have been thrust to the frontline of this conflict by the fascists just because of your existence. I am afraid just remaining yourself will become a demonstration of resistance in the next few years. :(

Protest, sabotage, political participation, contacting your politicians even if they are republicans.

If you're abroad or in an overwhelmingly democrat state then use your voice to affect that state to resist the federal government.

Engage republicans at every possibility and at every turn to make it known to them what you think and that they don't have your support.

Threviel

The thing with democracies is that the buck stops at the people. In the end it's the responsibility of the people to choose the government. All of you gathered in the elections and collectively all of you decided on this government, whether you voted for it or not.

It is a collective responsibility that you must all share.

This I can do. I can write a letter to my Democractic representatives to ask them to stand up for my rights.

I only know a handful (relatives) in California and we don't speak. Most of the ones here seem to have retreated.

Lovely sentiment but that really doesn't suggest a path forward.

I suppose you can be hostile to any Americans you encounter but that probably won't accomplish much.

Did not know your location. There's an embassy there, nothing stops you from protesting there.

It's from back in the day when Frenchies threw clogs into spinning jennies to protest progress. Nowadays it can mean whatever. Cause paper work for the government, sabotage products if your company sells it to the government and so on. If you work for a US company/government go read the OSS guide on sabotage that they used to drop in France during the war.

Go join a party, a protest movement or whatever. Participate in your countrys politics above the bare minimum.

If in the UK I guess there's not much you can do but badmouth your own country. If in the US try to get your state to fight for what's right.

I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.
