I think he's thrown in the towel too soon; remain results are starting to come through such as Exeter 44.7 leave - 55.3 remain.

But Exeter's a university town. It'll have a higher immigration population, a higher young voters population and a higher ABC1 population. That's tighter than I would've guessed for a mini-Bristol.

Similarly Northern Ireland I expected 60-70% remain which isn't happening.

I guess we'll see how Henretty's predictions hold up, I guess it comes down to how well he's modeled all the expected Leave areas and whether he had enough data when making that prediction to properly model the expected vote of the Remain regions.

You guys really don't understand that things down South work in spite of institutions/protocols/planning as opposed to because of them.

That is something I see a lot of when dealing with German engineers, for example. They expect everything to follow the plan (and try to plan for everything), they protest loudly if they are assigned to some task they are not trained for. A Spanish engineer just makes do.

We used to have a term for the kind of engineering that "makes do". We had to stop using because it was racist.
