Spotify now seems to have a Discover Weekly playlist that picks tracks based on what you and others with similar tastes listen to. I was sceptical, but it's giving me a mix that ranges from Sex Pistols, AC/DC and Styx over Body Count, Europe and Tenacious D to Lamb of God, Soilwork, Eluveitie and Obituary.

Surprisingly high hit rate for me. Less than a third songs I wouldn't normally listen to.
