She incidentally looks like hell now.
25 years more tend to that to most people ;)

I have a thing for awkward nerd girls, pixie haircuts, petite women, and blue eyes with dark hair, so my Star Trek crush is Nicole de Boer as Ezri Dax. -_-

Followed mostly by a long line of TOS guest ladies.

She was adorable, yes. I haven't seen her in anything before or since though.

Toronto girl. You can see her scantily clothed in Prom Night IV.

Sully - A 45 minute movie - more or less the amount of time they devote to covering the actual incident - stretched out to feature length with manufactured conflicts and half-baked character introspection. Didn't really care for the padded bits, but the forced landing scene was actually pretty great.

Finished The Man in the High Castle.

Rufus Sewell and the two main Japanese actors really carry the show.

Season 2 was better than Season 1 in pretty much every respect.

Show really dragged in places.  I agree that Rufus Sewell and the Japanee guys carry the show.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - the joke of its existence wears off fast. Perhaps you need familiarity with the original to fully get it?

Derk Gently -this is a rather fun series so far.  4 episodes in.

Haven't seen the film (and don't think I ever will) but the clever part of the book's gimmick is that it features the original Jane Austen text, which the author just edits and inserts the zombie parts in, trying to imitate Austen's style and dialogue. That probably gets lost in the movie adaptation, which looks like just a dumb zombie movie with XIXth century characters.

I didn't think it was that great. Looked too much like Prometheus, but with xenomorphs this time.

Wasn't impressed either. Surprised they catered to the Japanese market with tentacle porn.

Yeah.  I've never read it but heard about it.  Sounds clever indeed.
I think the film might be doing the same,  but I would never know it with my never having seen a version of the original.

I saw the Hateful Eight. Long movie and I was getting a little annoyed with it but it was well worth it to see how it turned out.
