In the Captain America movie the Captain fights with an integrated unit, something the United States didn't have until 1948.  (Although, once again, it is in a movie with flying cars in 1942.)  I think it would be a disservice to have an ahistoric racial make up in a period piece.

Well, it's backstory in the comics was that it was the first integrated unit (portrayed in the original run of Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos in 1963)
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I've got my Rogue One ticket for tonight, but it's the busiest time of the year, so I'm not even sure if I can make it for the 8:30 screening.

I had one for the afternoon but I had to cancel it, maybe later today. Otherwise, not until Monday.

Rogue One. It was better than I hoped it would be. It felt fresh, it was exciting, had great action and acting.

I hope the awful Danish taste for movies on Languish (Hive and others) won't be proven once again.  :D

I've always been Hive-sceptical.

Only complaints so far (Rogue One Semi-Spoilers):
Darth Vader was completely underwhelming. The CGI imperial guy and Leia was silly and stupid.
Discuss.
I can't believe they brought back Vader. :bleeding: It's Love Boat with light sabers.
Did you see it? If not this may comfort you:
Vader is only in two scenes so it didn't affect the movie for me.
Also,
only one lightsaber scene, the force was pleasantly absent throughout the movie
I have not.  Most likely will wait for cable this time.  Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me.

Shame, this is a better movie with a better cast.

It would have to be a helluva lot better to make me brave the icy cold right now.

We're going to the Brew & View to watch it tonight.  Food and local craft beer brought to your seat
