The Avengers (2012)

This is one heck of a payoff to the individual movies.  :thumbsup:

While the individual movies were at least good; this really brought the individual pieces together and made for one spectacular movie, something much better than a fresh out of the box Avengers movie could have been.  As I mentioned before, after seeing Batman V Superman and The Fantastic Four earlier this year I had some real doubts about the super hero genre, but this won me over.

Since the movie is a (better) hommage to A New Hope than the Force Awakens, I would have prefered if we had seen the same Vader; more presence, less talk, less lightsaber. For Tharkin, however, I thought it made sense (to have the character, I mean: I would have been happy with an actor made to resemble a bit Peter Cushing). [/spoiler]
