Why are you in court? If you care to share.

I am an expert witness for the State of Texas so I go in to get crossed about two or three times a year.

I feel a bit sorry for people working in PR departments when they are facing a shitstorm, e.g. United Airlines. All your work evaporates in an instant without you having any agency.

I dunno - a crisis like this is where you can prove your worth.

I think there is some merit to the "stand up for your aircrew" approach United is taking, even though the airline is taking a beating with the public at large.  Standing up for your team, having them know management has your back, is also worth a great deal.  And apparently morale at United is still fairly fragile after a merger with Continental several years ago.

They have now apologised...so hardline is not so firm.

According to NPR, "nearly a fifth" of US homes have septic tanks.

Makes sense, you still have a decent rural population. And even some suburban homes have septic tanks.

Honestly, I thought it would be a higher percentage.
