Maybe if Hungarians weren't a treasonous race, Austria would have been stronger and they would have defeated the Italians without so much loss of life.

Yeah. In the WW1 history system Hungarian history is considered especially retarded.

Could you please stop your trolling every once in a while?
The Hungarian soldiers were the backbone of the A-H army just like the Austrians. They bled and suffered and went through hell, especially on the Italian front, which was every bit as gruesome and pointless as the Western one, except it was a couple of thousand meters higher.

You don't need to tell me about the Isonzo front.  I'm not blaming the Hungarians for their performance as soldiers, but rather for their political attitude leading up to the war that left Austria a much weaker power than it might have been.  The Compromise of 1867 was the problem, not the conduct of the war.

Okay, you need to come clean.  Is Hungarian a real language?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
