earlier referenced, I am quite fond of my IJA field cap, which is an integral part of my VISION QUEST TO THE WEST
Why do you keep saying that?  Have you decided to become a Mormon and/or Japanese?

I could never be a mormon! They are an adorable people, but i'd need a lobotomy to sign on their beliefs. It is too dishonest to go along with things I don't believe just for the sake of their charming, beautiful culture. Besides, 10% tithing, no tea? No masturbation, even? They ask too much. I would hate to be a false Mormon, and I couldn't be a proper one.

I am not Japanese, although of course my progeny will be partially so. I admire Japan and its culture; it is a shining beacon of light in the world, and I cannot fail to see similarities between the South and Japan at times.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

Too many baseball caps to count.
A couple of knit beanies/cap for winter
Grey felt fedora
And old trappers cap that would have PETA chasing me.
Oh and cowboy hat that was brought back as gift from Australia
And new khaki boonie cap for work.

I bought a leather cowboy hat in Sedona, and it's been with me ever since. I secretly wish I could wear it more often, and I sometimes do for when I'm out travelling, and I get some pretty funny comments too.

Overheard on a train in Scotland: "Wow, he must be some sort of free spirit, travelling the world."

From a little boy at an airport, wistfully staring at me: "You really love that hat, don't you?"  :D

Leather cowboy hat?

I've never ehard of such a thing - and I live in cowboy country.

I have a bunch of hats; I like wearing hats. I have many baseball caps which I've grown tired of wearing; they just look too plain or something, lack personality.  ;)   I still wear them sometimes though.

More often now I wear the Ivy caps, I think is one label for them. Flat caps with a visor. Snap brim maybe they're also called? I have warmer ones with ear flaps for winter, and a waterproof one.

I have an Aussie style Kangol hat, a heavy duty canvas type wide brim hat. Cool hat. I wear that working in the garden, to keep the sun off of me.

I also have a small assortment of wool knit hats for winter.

And a couple of fedora type hats but I don't wear them often.

Well they both got their asses handed to them by Yankees in war. :)

You're probably the only man in history that wouldn't join the LDS church due to the tea ban, too. :D

Yes.

Colas are something of a grey area though IIRC.

No masturbation, even?

Oh, my hats:

Some beaners for winter
One camping hat, with build in mosquito net
One knit flat cap
One Chinese workers' cap.
One khaki cloth cap.

I use the black one mostly, and the Chinese one when it's sunny. The khaki is for when I'm working.

I also own a pith helmet, but it's too small. Been eying a reproduction pickelhaube for some time, for gaming, laughs and as a conversation piece to impress lesser nerds.

What's the resoning behind it? Drug?
Yes, hot liquids are banned.  IIRC the typical interpretation of hot liquids is liquids containing stimulants (i.e. caffeine).
