I'm thinking about it. One can only watch so many Patriot, Jets & Giants games.

Heretic!  You can never watch enough Jets games.   :P

Watching a Jets game last year was like being drowned in a vat of media semen by Brett Favre.

I'm glad he's retired once and for all.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Watching any game last year was like being drowned in a vat of Favre spunk. Especially if that fuck Kornheiser was yapping.

He does seem to have the most 'media' opinion possible, and an inability to shut up about it, doesn't he?

Lions have a new logo:

Can't you just feel the excitement building already?

I like it, but its not gonna to help them stop sucking.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

The real problem is that it's usually a freaking Patriot game.

Bandwagonners (like Tim) love the Patriots.  After they lose a bunch this season and next season, missing the playoffs, you won't have to worry about that anymore.

Hopefully, one good hit this pre-season, and we the fans won't have to see Tom Brady for awhile. Assuming he is ready, since it seems he would rather travel the world than rehab.

I doubt he'll play in the preseason.  We'll have to wait until week 1 for the career-ender on Brady.

Jets moving preseason camp to Cortland, NY...

Are the Jets placing themselves in position to poach Western NY fans once the Bills move to Toronto?

It's funny listening to the talking heads talking about how nobody wants the #1 overall pick for fear of being embarassed by a huge bust.  I thought to myself:  "How is it possible for Detroit to be any more embarassed than they already are?"

Short of going 0-16 again, I really don't know; but if there is a way The Lions will find it.

Any bets this year?  You picking that the Lions would at least finish average was one of the easiest bets I've won.

They'll get a fresh new rookie quarterback, and the weight of the entire team will be on his shoulders. How well you think that's gonna go?  :P

Better than last year.  I think the Lions will be terrible, but not as terrible as last year; say 2-14.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock
