Last year the Steelers played the hardest schedule in NFL history, based on the previous year's winning percentage.

Yeah, and how many squeakers did they pull out of their asses in the last half of the season? More than they'd want.

Two more than the Ravens did.  :P

For anyone interested, here is a look at how far things have come in the NFL from the days of watching game film on projectors.  The guy mentioned as the "Vicar of Video" ( :bleeding: the author is known for his horrible terminology ) is my brother.

Lions have a new logo:

Can't you just feel the excitement building already?
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

OMG! Brilliant! The only thing left to do now is draft three or four new wide receivers, and the turnaround will be complete!

It's going to be tough to do that without Matt Millen.

The rumor from ground control is that he'll be replacing Emmit Smith on ESPN.

Matt Millen can always go to the new UFL. I'm sure there is a team receptive to his 11 WR offense.

It's funny listening to the talking heads talking about how nobody wants the #1 overall pick for fear of being embarassed by a huge bust.  I thought to myself:  "How is it possible for Detroit to be any more embarassed than they already are?"
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

It's shocking that someone who was so very, very bad as a GM would be not that bad as an analyst.  Maybe he should have spent more time analyzing the faults of the Lions and less time analyzing college wide receivers.

Short of going 0-16 again, I really don't know; but if there is a way The Lions will find it.

For those who have it, how's NFL Sunday Ticket?

Around here, it comes bundle with NHL Center Ice (yay!) and MLD Extra Innings for 30$/month

I'm thinking about it. One can only watch so many Patriot, Jets & Giants games.
