Oh, he says they will "eliminate" the "exposures" that "cause" autism. And given then time frame he cites, I'm sure he's already sure of the outcome.

(Semi-related, he also says that the US response to the measles outbreak in Texas has been "exemplary" and should be a model for other countries.)
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Btw, Trump posted on his social platform a few hours before hitting "pause" on the tariffs that now would be a great time to buy.

Honi soit qui mal y pense. :P

Let me guess: his "exposures" are "globalists" who poison the wells?

He's an anti-vaxxer IIRC, I think we can hazard a guess at what he is likely to find  :hmm:

I wonder if RFK knows that the autism rate in the Heard and McDonald islands is zero?

Mighty suspicious that  :hmm:

No vaccines there.  Proof!

Looking at the markets it's just carnage. It's like the US lost WW III and is imposing unilateral war reparations on itself. :hmm:

Quote from: Syt on April 11, 2025, 01:29:09 AMRFK says by September they will know what's behind the "autism epidemic" in the US.

He could make a start by acknowledging that the "epidemic" is worldwide https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/autism-rates-by-country

That would eliminate a lot of possibilities that are purely domestic and hence irrelevant.

I thought it was correlated to the rising age of parents.

crazy canuck

Yeah we already know why.

From the link

QuotePrevailing theories suggest that the rise is largely due to increased awareness and diagnosis of autism rather than a massive increase in overall occurrences of autism. However, autism is more likely in babies with older parents, who are more common in today's world, and in babies born prematurely, who survive more often now than in previous eras.

Actually finding out the why of our collective brain behaviours would be good. We know the how come, not the why.

Not that I expect the anti-science Chuds & Brain-worm jr to find that out.

Yes. Though that is a theory. I am not sure how it will work in practice.
Also, poor people won't have a passport, or an easily found birth certificate.

It's not like states provide simple identifiable card with your picture on it.

A birth certificate is not a valid form of ID anyway. It has no picture or ID number that can be linked to you. And even if it did have a photo, I have changed a lot in my appearance since I was born. That doesn't even make sense. And they are just a piece of paper, super easy to create a fake one and vary wildly between states and years and jurisdictions. You couldn't ask for a more terrible ID.

The passport is the only Federal ID you can get as a civilian. And getting one is not exactly a quick and easy process.

My solution to this problem was always just to make the voters registration card itself function as a photo ID card. Make that double as a national ID card. Problem solved.

But nope. Everybody has to get a passport to vote I guess.
