Sweden deserves a plague of supervillains, what with their collaboration with the Holocaust and all.
Apparently this is the first spectacular heist there in recent times.

QuoteSweden has seen a series of spectacular robberies in recent years. Last year, a group of men paralysed large parts of Goteberg, the country's second-largest city, by spreading out spikes in the road, burning out cars in strategic spots and leaving suspected explosive devices in the centre as they raided a sorting office.

In 2006, Goteborg's international airport was partially closed after a group of masked men crashed through a gate and held up baggage handlers as they were unloading crates of foreign currency worth 7.8 million kronor ($1.1 million).

Four years earlier, robbers pulled off a similar heist at Stockholm's Arlanda Airport, when staff were loading foreign currency worth 43 million kronor onto an aircraft.

Doesn't it just figure?  Today is the first full day of Autumn, and we have an expected high of 80F.  Great for gardening, though.  I planted a few butterfly bushes this morning.

The high humidity isn't so great.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

We're told Autumn= September, October, November.
No mention of equinoxes.

Checking up on things both are right.
1st September is Meteorological, today Offset Astronomical (whatever offset means here)

Nope.  Only one is right.

It looks like you were told by complete idiots.

So are you getting all the useless crap that goes along with it as well?

I refute this 100% - most people I know treat the equinox's as the start and close of seasons. The others I haven't asked.
