Talked to my wife last night as we were getting ready for bed - she's on board with the plan!  :)

There was a bit of a rough patch for a second caused by her mis-hearing the word "prosecutor" as "prostitute".

Excellent. :yeah:

And Berkut - do it.  You know you want to.  And I've brought my wife to meet Languish types and it has gone well.   :)

Me and the wife have been talking about a weekend trip to Toronto - maybe I can make the dates match up...probably not, but I can try!
I hope you can make it. the last two TO meets have been small (one of which 50% dropped out of lol)
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

I wasn't mention in that Conversation, I think that's wise.

You are welcome as well, of course. There was just no entertaining misunderstanding.

"oh the yukon prostitute is bringing along a mutual contact from Montreal. since he still lives at home, I thought it would be fine if we offered him ours."

Take the train if you want comfort. Take Greyhound if you want to do it more quickly but risk decapitation.

Train it? Takes 2-3h & it's about 80$

When do you plan on going to TO? On the Saturday?

Friday.  I'll only come in sometime in the evening but that's fine by me.

My current plan lands me at Union Station around 8 PM.

When you guys arrive, drop by my place if you like. It is easy to get to if you want to TTC it, as I'm half a block from a subway station (Royal York).

Or conversely we could meet up downtown for drinks and stuff first. Your call. I work right downtown so that is no trouble for me.

Are we talking about meeting up Friday night then? I thought this would be on the actual weekend, like Saturday or something. If we are not getting in until 8 or later Friday night, there is little chance of talking the wife into going out that late. :(

Will you still be downtown at 8pm on a Friday?

At some point HVC & Sask should mention what they want/plan to do

I propose dinner on Saturday. Doesn't have to be the only thing the Languishites do together of course.

I am still probably only 25% in any case, but if I am going to talk the wife into going I need to present a firm plan for why, rather than "well, maybe there might be some people we could meet at midnight friday..."

Anyone have any good ideas for shows or anything to use to entice her to make the trip?
