It just occurred to me that a single idiot could stall the entire precinct by just occupying the booth and never leaving it.  What a banana republic setup our voting system is.

I'm not sure I'd generalise one experience in NJ to the whole US. I don't recall any issues that I faced with in person voting in '08 and '12.

That is what we did. By November the harvest was supposed to be in and the seed planted

I would, because there must be minimum standards in a functional system.  And one booth for a precinct doesn't even approach what is acceptable.

I just got back from making America great again.

My voting place had four booths and there were five people there.

So, it took me exactly one hour to excercise my right.  Not sure what people with less flexible work schedule are supposed to do.
