Not exactly paying off lawsuits.  Sure some lawyers will get rich figuring out if that's self dealing or not.
i didn't have a link at the time, someone had told me. Going by your link it sounds like self deal to me. He used charity funds to pay off fines and settlements that were in no way tied to the charities.

Well they weren't fines.  The settlement was that Trump was to make a charitable donation.  He did so by using the Foundation's money.

The settlements were that he make charitable contributions.  Maybe the law is settled on that, maybe it's not.

Hillary, please put a hard return after you quote someone.  It makes it much easier to quote you and crop.  :)

@ BB: They weren't against him personally but against companies he owned. ( although I'm not sure if it would make a difference if they were against him persoanlly, but I'm not a law talking guy).

*edit and will do Yi.

I get the sense that Breitbart has stronger editorial control.

It's not a candid obituary, it's a preemptive exercise in assigning blame.

I can very much imagine breitbart doing something similar.

I can imagine Trump doing so. Well, I guess I don't have to imagine as he's already been vocal about that.
