Ok back to the original question: why would it be bad to let the public know foreigners are interfering in our election before the election? Isn't that the kind of thing we should know before the election? It is better to do that after the election is over? Why?

One day in the future, I hope they make an Anthony Weiner biopic, only for people to reject the plot at "too implausible".

Comey is certainly doing his best to look like a complete stooge here :hmm:

Trump will win Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania.

Ohio?  Almost certainly.

Florida?  Quite possibly.

Pennsylvania? Fuhgetaboutit.

I'm a lot closer to Pennsylvania than you are.  He's going to carry it.

This I find worrying, it's like Brexit all over again. With that, just spending an hour or two handing out leaflets and speaking with the public convinced me vote leave had the momentum among the non-middle classes.

So if you're saying, having your nose to the ground has convinced you, then maybe 'we' are fucked?

On the positive side, this Comey nonsense is unlikely to have anyone feeling complacent.

Well there is that.

And from this side of the pond it doesn't seem that big a deal and unlikely to move many voters, though I'm unlikely to be the American type demographic that the 'Trump campaign' will be whipping into an anti-HRC frenzy.

White, middle class, lives out in the sticks... no, you've nothing in common with a Trump voter.  :P

Trump probably has 2% of the bike riding vote.

That's a very euro thing that he might lose in translation.

If he gets within 4% maybe, but come on. He's gonna lose Philly and Pittsburgh by a lot.

Lots of transplanted hillbillies and ethnic white meatheads in Pittsburgh.
