I'd be whinging like mad about the mascots and logo. Who came up with those?

Bad weather and bad traffic are the least of London's concerns.  This was posted on the Bethsoft forums today.  :tinfoil:

I wonder if those cards are from the Illuminati game published by SJgames.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminati:_New_World_Order

If so, he's off by 12 cards.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

There was a great deal of Whinging in the months and weeks prior to the Olympics in Vancouver.  When the games actually started the mood changed and you couldnt find a nay sayer.   I wonder if that will happen in London.

Used to love the Olympics. But somehow the recent outings have left me "meh". Too big, too sensationalist, too commercialized. My favorite games remain Sydney (summer) and Lillehammer (winter) - both times I had the feeling the hosts were really happy and proud to hold the games and not just going through the motions or using it as a propaganda tool.

L.A., Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, Athens, Beijing, Sarajevo, Calgary, Albertville, Nagano, Salt Lake City, Turin . . . . I've watched as much coverage of those games as I could, but I'll be damned if I remember anything too specific about them.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

And this is a surprise?
Places with captive audiences always grossly overcharge.

Look at the mascots

Note the one eye, that is the symbol for the illuminati.

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.  Who the fuck picked the Union Jack-clad spermatozoa?
