Actually it wasn't the 25 cm that did the trick, it was the 15ms winds.. they said it took less than 10 minutes for the roads to close after the plows.

Fantastic winter weather in Stockholm this weekend. Cold and clear with lots of snow on the ground.

Its so cold here the door to the washing room froze up after I'd been inside for 5 minutes. I had to heel kick the lock to open it....

And again on the way back...violence didn't work this time and I had to go home and boil some water to melt it open.
I felt like I was in some post-apocolyptic laundry adventure, the laundry room had some vague mechanical hums but was otherwise dead and in the dark and I was there on a mission, get in, get the supplies, get out. And watch out for mutants.
