I'm a little surprised D'Brick is held in such high regard from that draft class.  Don't get me wrong that's the guy I wanted the Jets to draft and I'm a big proponent of building the lines first but even up until last year there were still annoying Jets fans bitching about passing on Leinhart/Cutler claiming D'Brick was a bust.

Those Jets fans are kinda stupid though.  Passing on Leinart's noodle arm and Cutler's inconsistant play (and massive ego) is looking pretty clever to me.  How did Leinart do as QB, even though he had one of the top two receiving tandems in the NFL?  What did Cutler do when the pressure was on last year?  Cutler is 17-20 as a starter, and hasn't made the playoffs once, on a team that made the playoffs every year under Jake Plummer.  Leinart is 7-9, and some of those wins belond to Kurt Warner coming in as backup.  Based on their records, the Jets would be better trying to sign Plummer (68-67) out of retirement.

Those Jets fans are really stupid.  In the 2006 draft they bitch and moaned because the Jets passed on the flashy player Leinhart who according to them would magically turn the team around and lead them to a Super Bowl single-handedly.  Point out the Jets OL was terrible and was the worst part of the offense and they would just ignore it saying building the line wasn't important.  Those same fans every year cling to each young QB NY brings in during preseason turning on the guy they sackrode a year before.  Wouldn't you know the Jets draft OL early that year and now have the one of the better OLs in football while Leinhart is lucky if he makes backup in Arizona. 

This year the New Hotness(tm) is Sanchez.  These same fans are arguing that so long as Sanchez doesn't vomit, cry, faint or run out of the building during preseason he should be anointed the starter regardless of how he plays.  It's annoying as hell debating with these people.

Jamie Sharper is way too underappreciated in Houston.  He was no Ray Lewis or LT or anything, but he sure as hell manned up and did his job, even when most of the rest of the team just didn't bother.

RENO, Nev. - The woman suing quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for alleged sexual assault has been accused of bragging about having consensual sex with him to a co-worker.

According to court documents filed late Friday, Angela Antonetti said the woman who made the rape claim "did not appear to be upset, stressed-out or nervous" about her time with the Pittsburgh Steelers star during a 2008 celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe.

Antonetti says her Harrah's hotel-casino co-worker "appeared happy and boastful" about it and later said she thought she might be pregnant from the encounter.

Lawyer Cal Dunlap, who represents the woman, declined to comment.

In her lawsuit, the 31-year-old Nevada woman says the two-time Super Bowl winner raped her, a claim he vehemently denies.
