QuoteWe may have won a battle, but the war is still raging.

Now UKIP has served its purpose, Britain First can surge forward and tackle the issues of immigration and Islamification.

Also seems unlikely.

You thought that of a Brexit vote and yet here we are today.

What's going to be UKIP's platform now though? They essentially just achieved the party's raison d'être. Damn, it's even the name of the party.

Use Immigrants Out as a tool to gain political power and make the UK a bastion of the extreme right.

True but that doesnt mean all unlikely outcomes are now on the table.

Gaby, I think you're missing that the extreme right in Britain is now on the march, it'll feed off of any political indecision and take advantage of that vacuum.

What's now kicking off within the Labour party is a godsend to them, they can reposition themselves as the real voice of the British working class in those former labour heartlands.

I don't think it's just Britain. It seems like all over the place people are getting swooped up into goofy extremism of some stripe or another. Or just grasping the first populist straw offered maybe.

I think there is a lot to this.

I think the internet has had a big impact in spreading ideas in simplistic form for mass consumption.

Say what you will about Brexit, but watching the English commit national suicide is the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Where the fuck is the UK government?
Cameron -- gone
Osborne -- missing
Corbyn -- being ritually sacrificed
Johnson -- escaping to his land of birth?

The only one out there reassuring the public is Canadian Mark Carney!

Richard Hakluyt

I don't think we have a government at the moment.

The Commons meet tomorrow. might be quite dramatic.

PJL

It's quite possible that the referendum could be ignored since it was only an advisory one and Scotland & Northern Ireland have said they will block Brexit procedures in their parliament / assembly.

At this stage I don't think anything could be ruled out.

Sheilbh

Legally Scotland and Northern Ireland can't. But for Sturgeon it's perfect to try, fail and have another reason for indy ref II.

Could the Blairites in Labour join forces with the LibDems if Corbyn stays on?
