What's he on about?  Not Tyr, MS.

He's rambling, I suggest ignoring him. I mean, he's claiming the EU is undemocratic, when it's actually more democratic than many of its member countries, including the UK.

Pound now down 6%.   :(

To put it in the simplest way possible, again:

The UK is not allowed to leave the EU and will not do so.

Period.

You mean the EU is going to invade Britain?  Cause that only way they can prevent a Britain determined to leave.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Though I've not found a live chart showing this and the 6% is suspiciously similar to the earlier report 6c fall.

If it were 6% then the pound would currently be at $1.40.  :hmm:

And Google's counter is back to 1.46, having been 1.44 a few minutes ago and 1.43 a few minutes before that. The pound should be falling whatever the result, it overheated referendum day morning.

Yes overcooked at $1.50, though that's not to say we won't have major market turmoil in the morning.

Living in the Tory shires, I must say my individual canvassing was a strong anti-EU sentiment and determination to vote Leave, I was largely discounting that in the wider picture, but still a source of worry.

Now I'm very worried.  :bowler:

He means it wouldn't be cricket. I guess the idea that a country could be bound by a code of conduct is beyond you Americans.

Foyle in N.Ireland goes very strongly for Remain, but it's emotionally part of the Irish Republic.

No I'm worried as a humane American would react, if Trump gets in in November.

Prof. Vernon Bogdanor has just been on the BBC, a man who had a very favourable view of Cameron:

QuoteDavid was one of the nicest and ablest students I ever taught," Bogdanor says. "But I'm not responsible for his views."

He taught one of our very worst PM.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.
