And I'd bet 5,000 of them work for automobile comapanies that generate illusory value in order to sell their signals, I mean cars, to rich people.  I wonder if 5,812 Americans, or even a proportional number, got permanent resident status in Germany? :hmm:

At least a couple appear to be hausfraus that are sympathetic to the Tea Party who married Americans.

Interesting. Around 12 000 Brits.

More strikingly 7075 men, 4938 women and 1 'unknown'

The only number I could find is that 19,563 Americans migrated to Germany in 2012 according to our statistics office. Not sure if that number is comparable to the 5,812 Germans getting a permanent resident status according to the DHS. I would assume they are different as the 19k probably includes non-permanent residents.

Grey Fox

Question #5 Do you have any employee under your supervision

It feels weird using "we" in the context of my family.

I stop over in Abu Dhabi for just long enough to be a pain but not long enough to leave the airport and see something. :(

If I had a choice between various countries to go to as an expat, the US wouldn't be among the top ten countries I guess. It's just not as attractive as some other places.

Oh yeah? Well Germany wouldn't make my top 20.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)
