Oh another possible weird Anglicism for Yi. 'This bus is on diversion' - or is that universal?

In this context, we is absolutely no one.

Seems sort of in-line with the whole "Where are you from? Where are your parents from? No, but really where are you from?" type questioning. Again not an injustice just tiring.

"Do you speak any other languages?"  is a nice race-free way to weedle your way to sating such curiosities 70% of the time.
