Modern Family on the other hand is about the best thing on TV.

NBC works better contrived. The more "realistic" sitcoms like Whitney or Up All Night are the lame ones.

That being said, the promos lead me to believe the humor in New Normal is more like those shows than Community or Parks and Rec, so I've never seen it.
