I find BBT unwatchable. Take out the geek culture elements and it's a trite sitcom.

Seinfeld is probably the best example of broad sitcom that's actually pretty good.

BBT is junk food TV. It gets a lot of hate thrown its way by geek gatekeepers crying that its geekist and just as bad as racism as its laughing at them....
Yet plenty of very clever people enjoy it.
It doesn't make any pretense of being more than it is so it is acceptable turn on and give it half your attention TV.


I notice Harry Potter above Last Week Tonight too. Waa. Harry Potter is pretty low no?
