How unusual is this time frame?

Apparently there wasn't a ceremony and he just wanted to come back to Dorset to be interned with his parents, but doesn't look like his American family wants to come here for that, so I'm guessing one of his nephews will have to visit New Jersey to 'collect' him.

My father was incinerated within 72 hours after his death and the body traveled 600km.

Its a population density map of the world, with a twist that makes it so much more useful.
If you click on some urban areas it gives you a breakdown of how many people live at each density.

Its been observed for a while that population density on a national level is a nonsense number that doesn't mean much at all and there's moves afoot to measure this lived in population density instead. I approve. It really helps show the UK's problems (and LOL America).

Sadly its imperfect, the notes themselves recognise the Dutch and German data is trash and underestimates densities whilst some cities I'd really like to know about in the world are missing, then there's the small town factor which is where the UK really shines.

Thanks for the reply GF, seems customs are a bit different between continents.

Yeah, it's pretty common here to have a cremation without much if any ceremony. That can follow some time later.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Lol what? We like our low density.

Yeah, looks like they took all the built-up area and applied the average municipal density to it. I don't think that many people live in container ports and industrial areas
