I sliced through the damn muscle and tendon of my first knuckle a few weeks ago (being a loser without a dishwasher sucks), it's been infected and painful as hell, and except for one Tylenol 3 the night they sewed me up, all they did was prescribe me massive amounts of Aleve.  Gee, thanks guys, I'll fill this right away instead of just buying more CVS-brand shit that I'm already taking.

Ow. I'm glad my doctors weren't that tightfisted when I had my jaw infection.

I watched that E:60 show. Between that and Patrick Willis' dad being a major douche, it was downer night on TV.

Turns out it's oxycodone. I can't read my dentist writing apparently. The thing is making me woosy! Gonna be a fun day at work!

None of those opiates have much effect on me for some reason.  It takes a large dose to make me even the slightest bit woozy.  I never really get a "high" from that stuff.  Doctor said that some people are just like that.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I'm the same way. No difference between that and aspirin for me. I've never tried upping the dosage.

No.

I had never took a painkiller this strong before. This is all new to me.

sbr

I got some percocet after one of my shoulder surgeries and it didn't do anything for me at all.  It made me kind of sleepy for about 20 minutes but not much more than that; didn't do much for the pain either.

I find that Vicodin works very well for me at controlling pain after serious dental procedures, without making me high.
