It was a joke in bad taste. I can only assume HVC didn't actually understand the situation.  If he did, I would've hoped he wouldn't have made such a stupid remark.  You came into the thread, swinging knowing how stupid the remark was, but still defended it.

They had our feed full of our family and friends and interests and slowly slipped in propaganda and bullshit and got us all to accept it as if somebody we trust told it to us. Very clever big tech.
