Hammy! Yes... we still exist, though Elon Musk did consider buying languish and replacing all the posters with Twitter generated AI in an attempt to make us profitable.

As an AI language model, I am unable to understand what you are saying.

That's no different than our regular human users. You've already reached parity!

Yep, which is why I refuse to eat raw oysters.  Eating a living animal is barbaric and I want to punch people in the nuts who I see eating live octopus, sushi, etc.

I'm cool with fried oysters though.

Wow!  Jaron has reactivated two of his old sock accounts in the same day!

Good to see both of you.

They're fried alive, so what's the difference? :D

Octopus are intelligent, so I'm with you there.

How does one eat live octopus or sushi?  Pretty sure the act of carving up a fish or octopus kills it...

I've seen both eaten live at high end sushi restaurants.  It's some special class of sushi for mentally disturbed people or whatever.  I guess they carve it enough for you to eat it, but not enough to finish the job of killing it?

For the octopus the chop it up alive and you eat it in short order so that the suction cups still work (autonomic reaction). The weird sensation is the point. So the arms aren't alive, but the body/head part still is.

Japanese also eat live shrimp soaked in  alcohol, I assume that's the sushi part.

While that does sound like a headline from The Daily Mail, it's actually the BBC.
