Grey Fox

I have : Netflix, Disney +, Amazon Prime and, when it's F1 season, a Sports channel sub.

I also have a Youtube Music subscription & Xbox Gamepass Ultimate.

Sometimes I think about getting a Tou.tv Extra sub (French-Canadian service).

Mentioned often, I don't have cable anymore.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

Threviel

I'll try a free month here and there. Very rarely pay for a month or two. It's enough for us to binge watch what's new on every service once a year or so.

Very much of it is very old, very uninteresting or very bad. If I want to watch a move they are rarely available so I often fish in the bay.

The Larch

I've just discovered that this movie exists and I'm now midly excited about it.

Incidentally - forgot to mention about when I went to see The Batman but had a rant about this to a friend yesterday. In the cinema I went to see it - which is a nice posh fancy cinema (I have a membership to get up to 5 free tickets a week - which works out) - the first time R Pats came up in the Batman costume someone took a photo with their phone, with the flash on

I don't normally shame people for bad cinema behaviour because I will eat popcorn at every single film I go and see, but it was really outrageous. I was sat a few rows behind them and they were clearly still on their phone - it didn't look like they were dimming their screem either for a few minutes afterwards until someone nearer by had a quick word <_<

As long as you don't chomp on Milk Duds.

This surprises me. I always had the impression the slightest hint of doing something like this would bring security down.

Watched the Foundation on a friend's Apple TV. Nice visuals and a couple of good ideas here and there but bloody hell it was boring otherwise.

Particularly to the later ones when Asimov was trying to stich the robot series to the Foundation series so he'd have a "future history" like Heinlein and Anderson.  Even retconning the shit out of everything, it was awful.
The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.   -G'Kar

Bayraktar!

I loved Foundation when I was a kid.
But don't see how it can be made to work as a TV show. It's one of those pulp classics where characters are just props that pop up where necessary to move to the plot.
