No, his wife got him into some hippy ultra-left Christian denomination or something I think. I get the impression it's like the UCC, only even further to the left. But quite similar to the UUA... anyway he'll show up and clarify I'm sure.

It is a 'New Thought' denomination technicaly I think. But I think theologically there is basically no difference between U-U and Unity. Many people in our congregation do not believe in God and others are basically really left wing Trinitarian Christians which is the same thing you would find in a U-U congregation.
Whenever people from my church start talking about the Trinity and Jesus I feel an overwhelming urge to vomit.
Why do people that don't believe in a god go to church?

Why do people that don't believe in a god go to church?
Here is why I do:
1. Spiritual connectedness
2. Fellowship and Social Support
3. Becuase I enjoy it
4. I get to do charity and community work with people I enjoy being with
5. I may not agree theologically with everything but I do philosophically.
I think #3 is really the only reason anybody should ever go to a religious institution but that's just me. :P

Belief in a single, personal god is no more weird than any other spiritual belief, nor it is in any way more relevant for going to a temple.

Yeah, I was more asking rhetorically. I have no idea what your personal beliefs are.
Although U-U's use the term "church", a better way to think of their buildings is as an all-inclusive Masonic temple.

I think "revere nature" means you worship it in a personified way, sask (or at least the quiz assumes that).

Theravada is "little raft" Buddhism, much closer to the original teachings, and much more strict. It involves an ascetic tradition and a very strong emphasis on abandoning desire and achieving a state of "wantlessness" through self denial. When you think Buddhist monk, you're usually thinking of Theravada (well, or Zen, but that's another ball of wax entirely). Therevada's very much a philosophical tradition, there's little to no deification of Buddha in the practice.
Mahayana is "big raft" Buddhism, closer in practice to Christianity, with a functional deification of Buddha and a greater acceptance of, shall we say, inadequate devotion to ascetism and whatnot.
That, at least, is how I remember it. I haven't actually studied the matter for... better than a decade now.

The question asks something about "God (or Christ)". This question does NOT ask you whether you believe in Christ, since choosing this answer may simply mean you believe in God that is not Christ.
Yet, when I said that no question asks you if you believe in Christ, you claimed they do.

That would miss the point of the test completely. The purpose of the test was to take your cosmological, spiritual and moral views and give you the religion that is closest to your views. If we used your approach, they could also ask questions like "Are you a Buddhist?".

No. The belief in Christ is fundamental to any mainstream Christian sect. So much that if you don't believe in Christ, that should drop your compatibility down to 0%

 Isn't it kind of a moot point, since no sect that denies the divinity of Christ actually claims to be Christian anyway? At least, not AFAIK. Right around the time that the Unitarian Church removed all dogma from its belief system is when everyone (Unitarians included) agreed they were no longer Christian, or at least not
exclusively Christian (since individual Unitarians can believe in Christ's divinity if they choose to).

Pancakes?
That and waffles, biscuits and gravy and god's gift to us all, bacon.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to go to a Baptist Church to get all of the above, though. For example, there's Bob Evans.

I really don't like Bob Evans.

I was suprised and amused by neil's accusation, so I hunted up the most recent picture of me.
I have long hair, its true, and always have, but thats more of a family/old celtic thing. I only wear grey and green, and they are usually plain shirts I buy as cheaply as possible. I certaintly dont feel very emo. Was wondering how I fit the stereotype?

I have nothing in commun with Islam.
Middle-eastern origin, monotheism, poisonous attitude towards women, glorification of violence and combat, use of an incorrect calandar, the reverence of an ancient teacher or prophet, nonsensical dietary rules, a predisposition against reason, an inability to tolerate other religions, a belief that you have been granted mystical, war-related superpowers.
Siege, about the only thing you don't have in common with Islam is facing Mecca to pray.

Untrue.
I don't like killing anyone. Killing is bad. I do my duty
fighting muslims, in the process of which, very regrettably, some die of lead poisoning.
I would consider eating turkey or chicken bacon. I never tried it, though.
