Personally, I think they're just trying to give themselves excuses to go out and plug minorities.  Like derweiß says, the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and darkies.

And what's with the 2nd Amendment thing already?  Yet another "any moment now" President?  Fucking morons.

And really: you're 75 years old and have never seen the country so divided?  What, did you sleep through 1968?  OCN

On the positive, looks like most said they aren't going to do anything but they are fearful that others will do something. Who really cares as they were fearful about things to begin with?

I guess the message is clear - if you want functional government you have to vote (D) across the board.

Well, yeah, at this point.

There is another message though - put up better candidates than another corrupt fucking Clinton.

Not much incentive for them to do so if people look at it the same way as Jacob.

The Democratic party establishment loves Bill and Hillary because of the Clinton's fundraising abilities.  I'm not sure why the rank and file support them.  I mean, I can kind of understand with Bill--regardless of what you think about him otherwise, the man no doubt has a lot of charisma.  But Hillary?

I was raised hearing Hillary was the real power behind the White House and she's been involved in a lot of important causes during her many years.

I've actually never understood why someone would want to vote for Bill as his main thing just seemed to be charisma not talent.

edit: And I guess I am now Dem rank and file as I can't see becoming a Republican again in the foreseeable future.

Correct me if I am wrong but gun rights have vastly expanded since 1993, haven't they?

I suppose putting a black candidate is not a good idea either.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I wonder why they had Barack say this. Sounds a bit...well husband saying what his wife will do.

I doubt they "had him" say it;  he's been peppered with questions about her political future since the DNC.  She's got higher approval numbers than he does.

"my wife lacks the patience to be president" does sound bad
