Basically the combined Languish brain trust here in this thread was considerably more astute and on the money than poor Silver, every step of the way.

I'm trying to decide between the debate and MNF to watch. Which ever will be the biggest shitshow.

Oh yeah it's not for the debate, the warning was for MTV's Elect This campaign.

Still pretty funny, generation Snowflake.

So the debates, Trump has to appear sane, Clinton has to appear trustworthy.  :hmm:

Funny or not, it's excellent fodder for the "OMG can you believe it" tut-tutting of the alt right :)

I see I hit a nerve, you're following me around the forum now.

Nah, I'm just slightly bored at work and I read a couple of your posts. I thought I'd oblige you and give you some of the attention you so clearly crave by responding to a few of them

EDIT: but if it's too triggering for you, I can give you some safe space and not respond to your posts?

538 has been consistently wrong this election.

Since 2008 they've called 198 states out of 200 counting the 2008 and 2012 general elections and the 2016 primaris. They missed Indiana in 2008 and Michigan in the democratic primary in the 2016.

Jet: I see.

Such numbers are meaningless without specifying when they called it.  A year before?  A week before?  At 9 pm of the day of election?

Well, that's not very useful then, is it?  That's like forecasting next day interest rates when you're trying to decide on investment strategy.

EDIT:  Okay, less bad analogy:  that's like giving weather forecast for the next 15 minutes.  It will probably be very accurate, but not very helpful.

No one else is nearly as accurate.
