News to me, but perhaps not to say... Ed or Seedy:  Bernie Kosar's daughter is the porn star Lexxi Silver. :secret:
"Everything that brought you here -- all the things that made you a prisoner of past sins -- they are gone. Forever and for good. So let the past go... and live."

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

Seedy blames Bill Belichick.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

wow, tuesday thread!

I'm guessing my games will be Buffalo at Cincinnati & New England at Oakland. I'm unsure which Fox  game I'll get, whatever is the National broadcast is.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

Well, I get all of the games courtesy of Sunday Ticket, but the Big Game is on Sunday Night.  The Jets are going to get beaten down.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Goddamned right I do.  She'd be teaching Catholic school, raising a loving family, if it wasn't for that fuckstick.

Catholic school teacher?  That's even freakier than porn star.

But at least it would be in the sacred confines of holy matrimony, not online.

Fucking Belichick.  I hope his wife bangs negros during away games.

My predictions:
Buffalo and Detroit both go to 4-0 .
Pittsburgh loses 2 more offensive linemen and start recruiting for fill-ins at the concession stands at halftime, and lose to Houston.
The Ravens will take advantage of NY's offensive line issues, corkscrew Dirty Sanchez into the dirt, and pile it on the Jets simply out of general principle.

Grey Fox

I don't think I've ever said that before but I'd like to see a Detroit game this year. Maybe I'll take the day off on American Thanksgiving to be sure.

Dan-O is on an NFL team once more!

QuoteThe Indianapolis Colts have agreed to terms with free-agent quarterback Dan Orlovsky, according to a league source.

With starting quarterback Kerry Collins battling concussion-like symptoms following Sunday night's 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Colts auditioned Orlovsky and ex-Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brodie Croyle on Tuesday, the Indianapolis Star reported.

While neither signal-caller boasts an impressive resume, Orlovsky had the inside edge on the basis of a few weeks spent in the Colts' system during the preseason. Orlovsky was among the Colts' final cuts when they trimmed their roster down to 53, but now he might be in the mix for the starting spot in Week 4.

There's no telling if coach Jim Caldwell believes Collins is the man for the job anymore -- concussion or no concussion -- and Curtis Painter was uneven during the second half against the Steelers, completing 5 of 11 passes for 60 yards.

Orlovsky has thrown for 1,679 yards and eight touchdowns to eight interceptions in 13 career games.

Wooo!

Bummer, the Lions game and Washington game are on at the same time. Do I want to see the Redskins lose embarrassingly or watch the Lions beat Dallas? Maybe Romo will get sacked and injured! :w00t:

The suckiness of the Detroit Lions is one of the few eteral constants of the universe.  You guys are going to get hit hard jumping on that particular bandwagon.

Nah, I remember them making the playoffs pretty frequently in the 90's, so they weren't bad then.  Then Barry Sanders retired and Matt Millen showed up and....wow.

Edit:  Oh hey, reading their wikipedia article, they even went 9-7 without Sanders (just missed the playoffs then) the year before Millen began destroying them.
