Talking to my mom it appears said family member was friends with the senior retired cop    . Crooked cop was known affectionately as mad dog by his friends. I had heard of him before but never met him.

And while I was born in Toronto, and have lived here for the past 18 or so years, I grew up in other cities so never caught the drake accent and slang
