Ooh, Dune totally.
Dune 2- meh.
But the original...there's just nothing like it. One of the best things ever.

I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

That's why Martinus, for all his spending on the trappings of wealth and taste, will never really have class.  He's just trying too hard to be something he isn't (an intelligent, tasteful gentleman), trying desperately to hide what he is (Polish trash with money and a severe behavioral disorder), and it shows in everything he says and does.  He's not our equal, not by a mile.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son

Master of Magic
Merchant Prince
Medieval Lords
Master of Orion 2 (Essentially a new game following this formula, not the shit that was actually released 6-7 years ago)
Stronghold
Battles of Napoleon

Interestingly aside from Master of Magic most of these games weren't my favorite games in their own time, I think I only want to see them remade because they are fairly unrepresented by anything at all in modern gaming.

You mean the original D&D Stronghold or the newer one?

God, I played the shit out of that one. :)

It was enjoyable.  Kind of a prelude to Majesty.

This.  Also, Arcanum.

Well done. To my mind the only title in this thread that really needs a remake rather than just fall into the category "would be fun if".

Huh.  If we're including direct ports of games that only work on outdated systems, I've got a couple Sierra-ish games that I'd like to see brought up to speed:

Cyberia: Mission Norway
All 3 of the Discworld games (Discworld, Discworld 2, and Discworld Noir)

Silence! You are too young to remember the Golden Age of PC gaming.
