I remember Raid Over Moscow.  Funtimes. I almost through that out there.

Demolishing Saint Basil's Cathedral with a bazooka FTW.

Freespace 1 & 2

Source Code Project for that, then install Blue Planet and War in Heaven.
It's like dieing and going to paradise but far better.

I remember getting to the very end of that game and then having no idea what to do  in the place after St. Basil's, or really even what the hell was going on there.  It seemed like you won the game anyway though, even if you got killed in that room, whatever it was.

Red Storm Rising and M1 Tank Platoon would be fun, keyboard overlays and all.
PDH!

Shit, I totally forgot about Red Storm Rising.  That one is begging for a remake (though keep it set in the 80s plz).  That was probably the all-around best C64 game made IMO.

Now the game that was made for Hunt for Red October: complete turd.

I already posted about Red Storm Rising.  Props where props is due PLZ.

I enjoyed destroying Boris Chilikin ships with my Harpoons, because Boris Chilikin is fun to say. :)

edit: Also agree that Hunt for Red October sucked.

I rarely start at page 1 & follow a thread chronologically.  But we'll make sure you're properly credited when we publish the thread :console:

Yeah, that one sucked.

A Red Storm remake would probably be set present day, hunting for North Korean fishing boats or something.

Will I still get to kill Boris Chilikins? :)

No, but you get to giggle every time North Korea launches a Nodong missile.

That's why Martinus, for all his spending on the trappings of wealth and taste, will never really have class.  He's just trying too hard to be something he isn't (an intelligent, tasteful gentleman), trying desperately to hide what he is (Polish trash with money and a severe behavioral disorder), and it shows in everything he says and does.  He's not our equal, not by a mile.
