I'm onto the fourth series of Farscape now.
Damn that show gets trippy.

I also loved that they picked up a new crew member without anyone knowing/remembering how and why.

New season of Vikings looks really promising. I'm tempted to fire off CK2.

Tainted. :weep:

Woo! Roger Corman's "The Masque of Read Death" is on the telly! Sometimes I love my regional tv channel.  :)

Anybody watched Ascension?  It was on sci-fi last fall, now on CBC.  Halfway through the pilot, it seems interesting.

To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Love that one. Even if just for the art direction and the oddly poetic atmosphere he manages to set up.

I must say that Vincent Price's real voice sounds slightly weird, kinda nasal and whiny. But I also love the whole environment created for the film, quite eery and well done for the extremely low budget that Corman used to have.

Let's just say I appreciated the audacity.

IIRC "Masque" was the Corman/Poe film with the largest budget - which was still pretty pitiful by any standard of the time, mind.

I think my favorite Vincent Price movie remains Theatre of Blood. Turning up the ham to 11!

Ok, so I need a quick movie recommendation (I started watching "Dracula Untold" or some such and it sucks badly).

The only Wes Anderson movie I have seen is The Grand Budapest Hotel. Recommend me quickly something else by him which is in a similar zany vein and has a star cast.
