To those talking shit about the Fast and Furius movies a few pages back. They are entertaining movies, not works of art.

Vin Diesel is an abomination that must be stopped.  Same goes for destroying American muscle cars, a precious and increasingly rare resource that needs to be preserved.

It would appear not in 2013. There's a new Riddick movie coming out.  :(

I saw that, they can't make it any worse than the first 3.

three?

Pitch Black, some animated short film, and Chronicles of VinDick.

The Wolverine trailer reminded me that the only thing I really liked about the Origins one was Jackman's butt.

I know now why I stopped watching the second season of Walking Dead. I hate that cunt wife of Rick's. Fucking drama queen.

Oh, and MB: Ben Hur totally came with it!  I'll be watching that tomorrow, or whenever.  Happy Easter everyone!

I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Omega Man is awesome. Heston talks to himself and shoots vampire hippies while wearing a track suit.
Good point.

I think my problem is that Heston's in a lot of epics with someone else who's kind-of out-acting him. He just needs to be stoic and heroic while they've got a lot of work to do, and God do they do it (Brynner especially).

100% disagree viz. Heston and Brynner, at least if you're referring to The 10C .  They were in The Buccaneer together, I guess, but I never saw that.

Disagree with Larcho too.  Douglas is the most memorable part of that movie for me.  I don't remember Charles Laughton's fat ass hanging off a cross.

Yeah, Kirk and Uhuru for TV. Don't know for film.

We need a Slate rule.  No posting from Slate.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I like The Following.  I really do.  But that stupid cunt...  Jesus Christ.  Twice she has gone willingly with some morons.

And the FBI sure wasn't counsultant on this show, seeing as how they can't seem to get their heads out of their butts.

Here's a blast from the past: I'm watching Deadwood. I didn't see it when it first came out.

It's very good.  :)

Just watched that recently. Close to the best series ever made, even if the third season loses some steam.
