That one woman looks like Geena Davis, but 20 years older than she was when the video was made.

 Yeah that's the reference - the 80s is a great time to set a drama from soundtrack perspectives

I will check it out when it becomes available on Netflix or Amazon over here. :)
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

In the Shadow of the Moon. In the nightmare future of Philadelphia in 2024 desk phones are still a thing, but our story begins in the late 1980s when a serial killer stalks the streets. Different from what I expected, and generally better.
I thought it would be a normal thriller but it's more 12 Monkeys. The moral message that it's good to murder innocents to keep ideas from being expressed struck me as surprisingly aggressive, and more than a wee bit double-edged.
The Craft. The new chick starts hanging out with the local weirdos, but power always comes with a price. It's a very good movie, I liked it. I like that there are no major male characters and no love story. I had a hard time concentrating though because Fairuza Balk is so insanely HOTT.

That movie is 25 years old.

Fear. Not all movies wear capes. CSI's daughter Reese Witherspoon gets involved with "nice guy" Marky Mark. M'lady. Pretty good, I liked the slow buildup. Bonus points for super slutty friend Alyssa Milano, including a nice buttshot.

Edit: It's weird to see a 1996 high school movie where there ISN'T a Breckin Meyer playing The Pothead.

'The Dig' (2021) - Archaeology, lead up to WW2 and the English class system, what's not love about it.  :bowler:

Well worth a viewing and thanks to Mal for highlighting it in another thread.

Imagine Me & You. Lesbian Mrs. Leonidas spots her bride, but it's complicated. It's fine, but you shouldn't be allergic to clichés.

Does this one finally have lesbian sex?  :P
You'd think so. But no. They get interrupted before the clothes come off.
The Dig. In the shadow of looming war "Capability" Fawlty helps wealthy widow dig up the ancient past. As computer game adaptations go it's not that great, but as a standalone movie it's pretty good. A problem is the veeeeery sloooooow first part, but the pace gets better once
the hot chick with a gay husband shows up
, so hang in there. I'm not convinced that
spoiling the entire find in the opening scene
is a great idea, but YMMV I suppose.

Edit: Also, the unintentional (at least I think it is unintentional) hilarity of the
digging accident
scene is in pretty stark contrast to the rest of the movie. My sides were well and truly split.
