Rumbly chairs? 4DX I believe.

If you have never watched The Shining, King Kong, Saturday Night Fever, or the real Batman, I can see how you could miss the nostalgia triggers.  :P

The "real" Batman? Is that the one with Legos?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Will Arnett is now the definite Batman.

Justice League- Wow, I didn't expect much but....that was just terrible. I can't even remember the villains name it was all so generic.
Much of it was like watching cut scenes from the Injustice games. So much naff CGI.

Aquaman and Atlantis was awfully handled too. Its like a Aquaman film should have been released before...but it wasn't.

The only decent bits were Flash as Spiderman and the decision to leave Superman out of much of it.

Yeah, that film was a complete snooze, so utterly generic and mediocre. The only bits that caught my attention were when the soundtrack revived the Tim Burton Batman theme.

Batman vs Superman was embarassingly awful. This one is instantly forgettable. Progress!

I preferred Batman vs. Superman actually. It wasn't great, but it held my attention,
The whole "My mom is Martha too!" bit was dumb, and the future visions really needed some sort of explanation, but the overall plot really made sense and it certainly had its moments. I loved the opening scene and the human view on the Man of Steel battle.

I got those references :P But people older than me were catching like back round characters and stuff, made it seem like I was missing out on something.

Only good for me was Aquaman walking out of the bar whiskey in hand to that song by I think white stripes. Rest was crap. Is that Khal Drogo? He looks cool af.

Some of them were indeed elusive, which makes them easier to miss than dated references. I feel like watching the film a second time to catch what I missed.

Incidentally, I thought the underwater action sequences in Justice League looked awful and confusing, and now there's a whole Aquaman movie coming out which I presume will be full of them. With a black villain smartly named "Black Manta"

No, just no. Although if the girl from the underwater scenes is in it there's at least a little eye candy.

Watched Jesus Christ Superstar. the new production, with the girlfriend. It was pretty damn awesome.

I noticed that.
It reminded me of suicide squad and its habit of randomly placing cool songs into brief snippets thus totally confusing the tone.

The new production gives Jesus a girlfriend? I'm pretty sure Mary Magdelene was in the original

All This and Heaven Too. The plot felt incredibly contrived. The child actors hammed it up terribly. On a more positive note, this movie did showcase Bette Davis's range. Her character was much more... demure than her most famous ones. C+
