Watching The Deuce.  HBO miniseries about 42nd street hoes and porn pre-Disney.  Man the 70s sucked. Eye candy not so glorious so far, but I'm holding out hopes for the college drop out.

Makeups come a long way.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

I always had a thing for blue eye shadow. Maybe because when I was 11, in 1977, I had a crush on my Grade 7 teacher, Miss Patricia Vassallo, who always wore blue eye shadow.

I remember like it was yesterday, she always wore loose blouses and no bra and we would all line up to drop things in front of her, so she would bend over to pick them up.

I think I had my first wet dream about her.

But I digress.

Ok. So that's Patricia on the far right (obvioiusly)..

I'm in the front row, fourth from right with glasses.

BTW, top row, sixth from left is an American kid named James Laingan. His dad was U.S. Ambassador to Malta. A couple years later he would be transferred to the embassay in Iran. He was ambassador when the embassy was seized.

PS Hope you appreciate the pic. Photobucket has become a real pain in the ass now. Took me a good 20 minutes.

I've been watching Narcos. Enjoying it a lot. Pablo's wife is also damn hot.

Colonel Carrillo is the best character on the show though.

To Catch a Thief (1955)

Not one of Hitchcock's best, but it has its moments.  I liked the fireworks ( ;) ;)) scene.  Despite their age difference, Grace Kelly and Cary Grant are a believable couple, at least by Hitchcock standards.  The fashion show before the climax is a little weird; more what I would expect out of the 30s than the 50s.  (Surprisingly Edith Head didn't win the academy award for this; that went to Charles LeMaire for Love is a Many-Splendored Thing.)  Robert Burks did win for best cinematography, and the shots of the French Riviera are gorgeous.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

Apparently the Netflix version of Star Trek Discovery has Klingon subtitles. :D

I'm watching The Langoliers. There's some good ass shots of the drug chick when they push around ladders on the tarmac.

Wow, so all those watching other versions are supposed to guess what the Klingons are saying? Amazing creative choice.

;)
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I feel like I'm missing the joke.

Meaning the Klingons have subtitles on Netflix (when they speak Klingon) but not elsewhere.  Clever wordplay. :)

I'm thinking he meant you can watch the show with Klingon subtitles, not English subtitles for Klingon
