I'm watching kaleidoscope. I like it.
I don't get the random order thing. I'm following a recommended online best order and... It just makes so much sense. The opening monologue of yellow clearly marks a first episode, the relation between two characters provides a nice little mystery to be solved in the next.

The best thing about the Harry Potter movies was the series of
Pitch Meetings they inspired.

I watched in the order Netflix gave them to me, I think it started with green. Still pretty easy to follow.

I'm reading some online backlash on suddenly ridiculously buff Hollywood actors playing superheroes in the movies denying that they've had to take steroids in preparation for their roles. You guys read anything on the issue?

QuoteHugh Jackman Denies Ever Taking Steroids to Become Wolverine: 'I Was Told the Side Effects...I Don't Love My Job That Much'

Hugh Jackman is famous for packing on pounds of muscle to play Wolverine in various "X-Men" movies, but he told Chris Wallace during a recent interview on HBO's "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace" that he's never resorted to steroids in order to transform into the character.

"Over the years people have wondered, did he juice?" Wallace asked. "Did he take steroids?"

"No, I love my job. And I love Wolverine," Jackman said. "I got to be careful what I say here, but I had been told anecdotally what the side effects are of that. And I was like, 'I don't love it that much.' So no, I just did it the old school way. And I tell you, I've eaten more chickens — I'm so sorry to all the vegans and vegetarians and to the chickens of the world. Literally the karma is not good for me. If the deity has anything related to chickens, I'm in trouble."

QuoteJoe Rogan Urges The Rock to Come Clean About Steroids. 'He's Been Lying.'
On his mega-popular podcast, Rogan cast doubt that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson got his ripped body naturally at age 50.

Joe Rogan is on a mission to expose celebrities he believes are secretly taking steroids.

The popular podcast host and UFC commentator, whose net worth is estimated to be $120 million, took to the airwaves this week to take aim at his latest target, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

"There's no way you can look like that in your 40s," Rogan said about The Rock who turned 50 in May. "The Rock should come clean right now."

The Rock is currently starring in DC's Black Adam. He's admitted to using steroids in his early teens but says he's now clean.

A necessary evil?

The topic came up while Rogan was discussing Liver King, a $100 million fitness celebrity recently outed as a steroid user, despite his frequent denials. Rogan also believes Chris Hemsworth and Hugh Jackman have taken steroids for their superhero roles.

A fitness enthusiast, Rogan admitted that he uses hormone replacement therapy, a steroid-free form of testosterone.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with taking hormone replacement. I think it's actually wise. "I think it's healthier," he said.

He urged celebrities like The Rock to come clean about steroids if they use them.

"There's a responsibility that you have to people that are listening to you. And I think you have to be honest," he said.

But he also conceded that he understood the pressure that was on movie stars to not talk about drug use.

"The massive amount of money that's involved in a film, like the one thing they don't want is to jeopardize any of the potential income," he said. "And if you come out and say, you know, the only way I got this way for the Hulk is I had to take massive amounts of steroids, people are gonna get upset."

For Johnson, who received $22.5 million to make Black Adam, according to Variety, that might be an expensive confession.

I've heard nothing on steroids.
I do remember seeing an interview with the Asian guy from Silicon Valley/The Eternals who spoke highly of the special Marvel training regime to get buff and how it was amazing he was getting paid to do this thing that people would pay big money to get access to.

The difference is that Kumail Nanjani still looked relatively normal even after the whole superhero training regimen. These other dures (Rock, Jackman, Hemsworth...) look out of this world, at relatively advanced ages to top it off for Rock and Jackman.

They are normally buff guys though, their start point was Kumail's end point. Stands to reason to some extent this would boost them.
They could also have been pulling the old body builder tricks of dehydrating themselves et al?

Though I will say I doubt The Rock has never done steroids what with the wrestling background.

It seems quite the exceptional claims demand exceptional evidence sort of claim that they'd be engaging in something so visible and illegal on a big budget film.

The Rock has admitted to using steroids in his early career.  He denies using them now.

Joe Rogan is in a pretty, glass house and should be careful about accusing others of using steroids and other drugs.

About a decade or so ago, Disney re-released the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy in "3D". I went to see The Phantom Menace out of morbid curiosity of what they could do with a film with the latest 3D developments. The answer? Basically nothing worth noting. The background had some vague 3D elements added, but by in large it remained unchanged. The effort was such a flop I'm not sure they ever got to Attack of the Clones let alone Revenge of the Sith. Another decade of technology and James Cameron possibly being involved might yield better results, but I wouldn't count on it.

I think we need a little more substantial than the rantings of Rogan to take the claim seriously.

The workout and diet regimes of both Jackman and The Rock are well-known. They put in the time and the pain to develop the bodies that we saw on the screen.

Well, it's not like you take PEDs and sprout muscles all over. You still have to put in the work.

I'm all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, absent evidence, though.
