So... where is the racism there?  Or are we expanding the term "racist" to include a bunch of other things we don't like?

The preference for blood ties I guess. I see that tossed around for blood based citizenship countries.

So this farage guy used to be a MEP? Is that correct?

Still is an MEP.  Never won a Parliamentary election.

He still is.

So someone who feels that Britain should not be in the EU is a member of EU Parliament?

How does that work exactly?

About 20-30% of the European Parliament is anti-EU in one way or another.

And it works the same way as Parnellites or the SNP in the Commons worked.

That just seems kind of nuts to me - electing someone to a Parliament whose position is that the Parliament should not even exist.

Pure obstructionism, I guess.

I suppose the rest of the EU Parliament just ignores them?

How do you make deals when some 20-30% of the people you need to deal with are there to simply throw wrenches into the works?

Corban loses no confidence vote, 81%-19%. He has no intention to resign.

With pork amendments like in the US Congresses.

They and their constituents are still entitled to representation if they can get the votes.

... and he can't be made to resign? He'd rather destroy the Labour party?

Interesting times in British politics.

Suisse & Japan are racist.

He always wants to leave where he is. Now that they won't let him stay(maybe), he's looking for ways so that he can stay.

How is Switzerland racist?

I guess because of these no minaret referendums and the like?

But they do think they're gods gift.  Such an amazingly nationalist nation.
Makes sense why they're that way, but dosent make it good.

It is something to do with mountains and mountain cultures. The Austrians are gits as well (apart from Vienna). Fernand Braudel goes on about it at great length.

Labour never depose their leaders. Only way to remove them is to find an alternative candidate and beat them (though there is a difference of opinion among lawyers over whether or not Corbyn is automatically on the ballot).

Interesting to see the responses of the unions as this clearly isn't a 'Blairite' coup. Apparently Labour MPs are now deciding between Angela Eagle and Tom Watson as a unity candidate to nominate.

Yeah we have Libertarian candidates who announce they are going to shut down the whole office if they get elected. As if they have the power to re-write the constitution just because they got elected to office.
