You just see Star Trek IV for the first time?

I think it's Star Trek IV.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.

It's Star Trek VI, "The Undiscovered Country". It also contains a reference that Hamlet should best be read in the Klingon original.

Star Trek IV was the one with the whales.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

You fail at being a nerd. :(

Undiscovered Country is perhaps my favourite Trek movie (next to Khan, of course ).

Somehow the Gene Simmons (from KISS) reality show is on my TV; it is actually pretty entertaining.  I moved from the computer to the couch to watch it.   :Embarrass:

I hope the journey wasn't to hard on you.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Pffft. Tim is as nerdy as a convention full of "Trekkers."

No.  It isn't that it was a hard journey, the TV is in the same room as the computer, I just have to crane my neck to see it.  The point is that the program actually interested me enough to make me stand up and make an effort to look at it.

I know Star Trek IV was the one with the whales, I just couldn't remember the context of the quote. I do now though, Spock was comparing Kirk to Nixon and the Chinese to the Klingons.

I prefer 5am.  Early to bed, early to rise, and whatnot.
