So you're saying you dreamed of little girls branding each other :hmm:

I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Had a dream last night that I made a fortune marketing "My Little Pony" do-it-yourself customized branding iron kits - then lost it all in product liability lawsuits when little girls branded each other with them, set their hair on fire, etc.  :(

That sounds so ...  tawdry.  :(

Speech contest today.
After my girl made her speech a friend commented on how he could tell she was from my school because her speech was pretty socialist. That hadn't dawned on me before, I didn't think it was, she was more speaking about quite traditional community values which are strong in Japan. I could see what he was saying after he pointed it out though.
There was another girl making a speech which I absolutely hated. It rang as very cunningly nationalist. Going on about how Japanese should be proud of their country and being very careful to say the right things to keep inside the bounds of respectability- we should be proud of all that Japan is good at in a way that doesn't hurt other countries and that sort of thing.
Guess who won the contest? The freaking fascist. Sure, her English was great. But her content...it was just horrible. Rang so many familiar bells.
My girl despite sounding like an American meanwhile...didn't even place. And there  were only 24 contestants and 2 second places and 3 3rd places.

Romney staying occasionally active on Facebook post-election. Interestingly, "he" is now posting messages and pictures of a personal nature more than during the campaign. Maybe that's what happens when you get rid of the professional consultants who misguidedly polished and manufactured his every word and picture.

What a hideous kitchen.  :yuk:

Cute pic, though. He looks like he just rolled out of bed, threw some clothes on and went to check on how things were going for the wife. Kind of how I picture Ed Anger Thanksgiving morning, now that I think on it.

I liked the pic a few days ago of him pumping gas.  He just looks so humbled

Sometimes the cat walks on the Keyboard, (or just lays down and takes a nap on it).  Normally it just creates a string of random letter and number or open some program.  Today, I came downstairs and found that someone had opened up the internet browser and typed in "Locust".  I didn't know the cats could spell, and I'd like to know why they were interested in locusts.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
