Is there any good reason why Microsoft designs their updates so that they restart your computer while you're in the middle of working on something and steal four hours worth of effort?  God.

:rolleyes: if you let the updater restart without asking you, that's your problem.

That is a big pain.
Also annoying is the way they turn your computer on from hibernation to restart it.

It asks you...but it does in such a sudden way that you press a button and it seems you've accidentally pressed yes, restart! or the timer has counted down, or something like that.

Fair enough.  I didn't even know I could change it, but now have.  It really ought not be the default, or even if it is, it should recognize when you're saving a file and wait till that's done.

Also, I'd complain about the lack of an autosaving featuring on Photoshop, but it's not like I [redacted]
