1920- Five years after the end of the Great War.

In 3 years of carnage in which 6.5 million were slain, the Triple Alliance of Germany, Russia and Italy decisively defeated the Quintuple Entente of France, Britain, Japan, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire.

America was not involved. Both alliances made great efforts to maintain good relations, and it was too busy intervening in Mexico which had imploded in an orgy of civil war, banditry and anarchy.

Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

There is probably a reason why Russia has conquered South America.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Eh? Totally different colors. The South American countries are the default tan color. They weren't important enough to get an individual color. The Russian Empire and it's protectorates are sand colored.

Why is England holding on to part of Canada?
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Saw a dude on a scooter get hit by a car yesterday.  He tried to make a turn on to a street that had three lanes going the other direction and only one his direction, and he picked the wrong lane.  He plowed in to a car and flipped over the hood.  Was ordering take away noodles so I watched, an ambulance and the police showed up eventually, but he never moved.  I don't think I've ever seen anyone die before.

New Foundland didn't join Canada until 1949, it remained part of the British Empire up to that point.

The situation is the same in this time line, Canada is a Dominion and Newfoundland is still part of the Empire. South Africa, Ireland and Australia are also Dominions.

Wrong.

Also, the likelyhood of America being strong enough to wrest away northern Mexico is nil.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Does USA NOT gobble up Mexico in any of Tims projections? :P
