I like how they have a store in either section, and it's just different types of mustard :D

I keep it all in the fridge except honey. Even hot sauce

They are the same damn rules. They are both Indo-European languages. The only difference is that some languages keep things like genders and declensions more than others. I studied French for years and the stuff you say about it is so insane and nonsensical it just blows my mind.

French is a perfectly conventional Indo-European Language. It has the same fucking grammatical rules and structure as all the others do. Every rule French has almost certainly has a very similar rule in German.

Yeah, I can read French reasonably well (oral is a bit harder, but that's because I'm not used to listening to it) on account of speaking Spanish/Catalan. It's just another romance language.

French Valmy is an angry Valmy :D

I don't like the way French sounds, probably a reaction from having to learn it in school from not the greatest of teachers. I actually prefer the sound of quebecois. However, it's not a hard language to learn. I'm worse at it now then when I was younger, from lack of use though.  Some of the rules do indeed seem overly complicated, but I just assume it's a classist thing, to filter out the plebs :P . But if you can figure out English's oddities you can figure out French's.

French has a lot more irregularities than German.
It also has the disadvantage for English speakers of it being the simpler words which are more alien.
I believe German gender is less random too. Though haven't gone into enough depth there to see first hand.
The pronunciation is the key difficulty with French and one that German doesn't seem to have however.

Again a claim the stuff I say about French is wrong with no example.

Also again I'm really not the only person in the world to find fault with French.

We're most likely getting a new volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula in the next few days. Widespread magma intrusions and earthquakes. Third one in less than 2 years. :hmm:

Stop summoning demons then.

It's thankfully in the same remote area as the other 2 eruptions. It'll backfill in a couple of valleys and then die out. Probably.

Interesting. My bottles of Heinz Ketchup, HP sauce & Lea & Perkins all state to refrigerate after opening. Same thing on the soy sauce bottle.

Only thing from that list that I dont put in the fridge is the honey & the L&P sauce.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

Is there any disadvantage to putting most of these items in the fridge?

I mean oil and honey will go solid so we keep them in the cupboard, but everything else goes straight in the fridge.

Sheilbh

I don't think so.

I more or less follow that. Didn't realise maple syrup needed to go in the fridge, and put pickle in the fridge but otherwise basically that.

Edit: To be clear I don't follow that - I only found it a ffew days ago. It just broadly matches what I do.

Fridge space is finite.

And putting cold sauce on hot food is not nice.
